«شهر سترومپِت» سهقسمتی تلویزیونی در سال ۱۹۸۰ تولید شده توسط پخشکننده ایرلندی RTÉ بود که بر اساس رمان ۱۹۶۹ جیمز پلونکت با همین نام شکل گرفت. این پروژه پرهزینهترین و جاهطلبانهترین تولید RTÉ تا آن زمان بود. فیلمنامه توسط هاو فلد نوشته شد و پیتر اُتوُل در نقش جیمز لارکین، رهبر اتحادیه، ظاهر شد.
