خط داستانی
ژو جوزاوا یک فرد قانونشکن است که دوست پیدا کردن برایش چندان مفید به نظر نمیرسد. بنابراین وقتی دختری به نام آمه اوچیبانا ادعا میکند که آنها از زندگیهای قبلی با هم مرتبطاند، او شکاک است و تمایلی به همکاری با او ندارد. حتی عجیبتر این که جاهطلبی ترین آرزوی او خدمت به او است. فکر میکند آمه دچار توهم است و سعی میکند فاصله بگیرد. اما وقتی یکی از همکلاسیها کشته میشود، جُو تصمیم میگیرد او را نزدیک نگه دارد تا مظنون را بیابد. با این حال هوش و توانایی او به تدریج ارزشمند میشود و این دو با هم برای حل پرونده همکاری میکنند.
